Mapo Oil Reserve Base Competition
Our objective is to build a recycle educational park to the Seoul society.
The scheme aims to promote recycling of waste materials and unused goods to reinvent and create useful products through public workshops and educational programs.
The citizens will experience the process of collecting, processing, marketing of products through social events and cultural activities in order to aspire the younger generation the idea of recycling with creativity and raise their awareness of the current environmental issues.
The oil reserve base plays a significant historical to the society as it is a symbol of the industrial era and period of growth. Currently it is a place that is unknown to citizens, and is hidden due to the aftereffects of the 2002 World Cup. Therefore our aim is to vitalise this area and establish a connection of this place to the city.
